This has been on my list for a while, but it's so far from me, that I really haven't had the will to come up. Ordered the chicken malai frankie. I thought it was great. I did want a more variety of spices, but it was a solid meal for less than $10. The chicken was moist and creamy, and for the price of it, there was a lot. I loved the tomato based sauce. If you find yourself with another person, there's a discounted price for buying two of the same type of roti roll. A quick filling meal for anyone on the go or just needs a late night snack.

Absolutely loved the lightning-fast service at Roti Roll! Super small hole in the wall place. There was not that much seating, but it also wasn't super busy at the time we went. Within minutes, our deliciously seasoned food was ready. The temperature contrast was spot on, enhancing the flavors. Plus, the option to save on the bill by buying two is a delightful bonus. They do take both cash and card which was also very helpful. Can't wait to return for more!

Service: 3/5 Food: 4.5/5 An UWS hole-in-the-wall spot, perfect for a late night snack or cheap + quick bite. You probably can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Heads up: I believe they're cash only + takeout/counter seating only. What I Ordered: Hot Aloo Fries Chicken Makhani Chicken Malai

This is a great spot for a quick lunch. I ordered two roti rolls for pretty cheap and had 2 lunches. Close to the columbia schools if seeking a nice lunch on the go between classes or work. The wait isn't very long and they have Indian desserts and drinks like lassi as well.

Simple, yet so good. I got the chicken one and the flavors were so bomb and rich. It felt a bit expensive ($8) for a single and small size of the item but worth it. Def recommend!

This looks like a Columbia University special, majority of the people I seen there look like they were students. The food is good, they're open late and prices are reasonable. I ordered the channa masala roll which was great. It is a small location, grab and go is a must. They do have chairs but comfortably sitting down and eating is borderline impossible.

Roti Roll is a great find because of its flavor and value. The lamb roll especially was fantastic, but I also really enjoyed the chicken. If you get two of the same kind, it's about $12-13, whereas individually, each roll is $7-8. There's not a lot of seating here, so plan to eat your meal somewhere else.
